For the last two weeks or so my garden has turned into a nursery for loads of little birds all fledged and learning that my house is the Tesco Extra for the bird world.
In the main it's been baby Sparrows, Starlings, Chaffinch and Greenfinches but on Sunday we had nice change. A family of lesser spotted woodpeckers with their youngster feeding off the nuts feeder. It is very special little bird as the species are on the RSPB red list of endangered birds. See RSPB website for more information.
