Not me you'll be pleased to hear but a group of protesters riding through the city. The sight of old naked men, who formed the majority of the group, almost put me off my lunch but not quite!! (sorry no pictures - all to ugly!)
As the plane wasn't leaving until the evening we had the day to ourselves or at least part of it. So we had breakfast in my new favourite place - Tim Hortons. Maple dip donuts....mmmm!!!!! We then went down to the waterfront at Canada Place to see the cruise ships and float planes. As the rain had gone it was a nice place to sit and relax, get some fresh air ahead of the monster eight hour or so flight home.
We then wandered back up to the hotel for Pacific Cod and chips for lunch - interrupted by naked people on bikes - before heading off to the airport. A goodbye to Anne-Marie, who I have to say was excellent and made the holiday. So if you are reading this Anne-Marie, thank you for everything it was brilliant.
We then spent a fortune in the shops getting Winter Olympics stuff and then blew all the cash we had left on more of Tim Hortons lovely maple donuts!!!
A nice big BA 747 was waiting to take us home and despite the crap leg room all went well and Terminal 5 was excellent, all luggage returned and then it was home to see the horses.
A brilliant two weeks, enjoyed it hugely - shame it's all over.
