Social media
I support the University and many of its social networking applications including Facebook and YouTube.
I manage the YouTube channel for one of the academic schools (Cranfield Health) and this work involves me editing the video into appropriate formats using Adobe Premier CS3 and uploading them to the channel.
I also monitor the Insight statistics and advise on future video production. All the video's used online are professional produced and I worked closely with the school and other members of the marketing team to develop this content.
In addition to this school I also manage the channel for the central University with a view of launching a YouTube.edu channel later in 2010.
The University has a keen interest in Facebook and LinkedIn and I've worked with the various department to enable them to use content within the content management system to automatically feed in and support these channels.
