Woburn sponsored ride 8 May 2005

Woburn ride rosetter

His Grace the Duke of Bedford gave permission for another sponsored ride to take place within the grounds of Woburn Abbey on 8 May 2005. This year the event was run for The Tavistock Trust for Aphasia and The British Horse Society.

Nadia and I took Moises and Jemma along for the four mile event that took us round the rear of the Abbey, past Paris House and then back round the front of the Abbey before turning and cantering back up the hill towards the Abbey car park. Half-way up this final stretch was a professional photographer and below are the results - proof that I both made it round and got Jemma up to a canter! There was a few strides of gallop but I ran out of bottle!

To the right is a photograph of the rosette we all got for completing the ride.

UPDATE: Thank you to all who sponsored me, the money is all in and I managed to raise £65 - thanks very much!
